Big Fest 2008 , Big Time!

Thanks to Big John Mills and Kent Finlay for putting together a great three-day music fest. The history of Cheatham Street Warehouse in San Marcos, Texas makes for magic on stage. This event is held every year and all proceeds go to Cheatham Street Foundation, a non-profit that helps Texas singer-songwriters get their songs heard. Cheatham Street has launched many careers including Stevie Ray Vaughn, George Strait and Randy Rogers Band.Live music is featured almost every night of the week by up and coming Texas writers. We had a BIG TIME at BIG FEST and can't wait till next year!

We had a great time! Thanks to Ken and all the staff at Buster McNutty's in Livingston , Texas! Great food,great atmosphere and great people! We are definatly looking forward to coming back!

We had a Great time in Palestine,Texas! Thanks to The Academy of Texas Music,the Boyds and everyone that was a part of this years show!I got to see some old friends and made a couple new ones.Here's to all of this years nominees and winners! You Make Texas Proud!Way to go Randy Brown! GREAT song Mark Zuess and what a delivery! Big John Mills! WOW what a player!I hope to be pickin' with you at BIG Fest this year!And thanks to the City of Palestine for putting up with all the musicians over the weekend.Thanks to all the fans that helped make this year a success!

"One More", the second single off the "One More" album is being promoted by Debbie Green of BGM and is building momentum across the state following the number 59 finish (Best in Texas) of "I Ain't Living Long Like This" in December. Look for "One More" on CD-Tex Volume 63.

The acoustic songwriters forum held at The Red Moon Cafe was hosted by Tim Fralik,Tommy Alverson and Randy Brown Sunday night March 16th,and simulcast live on The Ranch 106.9 in Ennis,Texas.The songwriters swapped songs and stories for two hours to a full house.Be looking for upcoming Tim Fralik shows at the Red Moon Cafe.

Tim Fralik has been nominated for "Male Vocalist Of The Year" by the Academy Of Texas Music.
" When I got the news I was just stunned.To be nominated for an award with only one release out there (I Ain't Living Long Like This" fall 2007)I am truly blessed and honored to say the least."
The first single from the "One More" album has done well,with spins light to heavy in twenty-seven Texas and Oklahoma markets.
The Texas Music Awards Show will be held in Palestine,Texas in May and will be hosted by legendary Texas artist Gary P. Nunn.
