This talented singer/songwriter from College Station, Texas, first became interested in country music as a profession at an early age. Inspired by artists such as Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and Jackson Browne, Tim set out to find his own voice in the music he loved.
In 1985 Tim enrolled at McClennon College in Waco,Texas, where he studied commercial music, and in 1988 landed his first artist gig. For three years he worked as guitarist/background vocalist for Mercury Polygram artist Ronna Reeves.
1991 found Tim in an original band in Ft. Worth, Texas, working on what would turn out to be just another lesson.
Frustrated, and more determined than ever, Tim moved his small family to Nashville, Tennessee in 1997,and quickly found work as a guitarist for acts such as Kevin Sharp, Mark Chesnutt and The Dixie Chicks, but there was a desire for something more.
In the winter of 2002 Tim began putting together an album project that would feature his own material. The album "I Know Love" was completed in 2003 and with minimal promotion reached the playlists of many independent radio stations across the state of Texas as well as peaking at number 64 on the worldwide most played list. With more than 2000 units sold from the stage from 2003-2007, Tim hopes to make 2008 his best year yet.
Tim's latest effort "One More" is a collection of his own material and includes two covers by legendary writers Rodney Crowell("Aint Living Long Like This") and Gary Stewart("Empty Glass"). Delivering an absolute stellar performance, Tim gives new life to these two country classics.
The first single realesed from the "One More" collection ("I Aint Living Long Like This" October 2007) has done well with airplay from light to heavy in twenty-seven Texas and Oklahoma markets and finishing at number fifty nine on Best In Texas.
February 4th 2008 Tim was nominated for "Male Vocalist Of The Year" by the Academy Of Texas Music. (Winner to be announced May 3rd 2008.)
Tim played 85 shows in 2007 featuring his own material as well as material from the legendary country artists that still inspire him.
